Register to Attend Mass at St.Jude’s Parish

Note: ALL MASSES have been CANCELLED as per Dr. Bonnie Henry's recomendations.

Following the green light from Archbishop Miller for a limited resuming of Public Masses, in strict adherence with the Provincial Health Authority and Archdiocesan guidelines, we have been working on a system that would best serve our parishioners, and be feasible in light of the resources at our disposal to ensure the safety of all. 

Instructions for attendees

1. Attendees must not be anyone who falls under the BCCDC Guidelines for Covid-19.  Please use the following assessment tool to determine your ability to attend mass.  https://bc.thrive.health/covid19/en

2. Contact the parish office for pre-registration.  You must receive confirmation from the parish office before coming to mass.

3. Arrive 30 minutes early and enter church through designated doors


4. Face Masks in Church - With COVID on the rise, we strongly recommend the use of a face mask when attending Mass, in order to help prevent the transmission of COVID-19. Wearing a mask demonstrates our charity for one another during the pandemic. We wear a mask also for our fellow parishioners. It is also strongly recommended by the public health experts. 5. Upon entry, sanitize your hands

6. Check in with usher for assigned seating

7. Proceed to numbered seat

8. There is no Sign of Peace

9. Holy Communion is to be received by hand only

10. Exit through designated doors

11. Please promptly leave after church to allow volunteers to disinfect used areas

NOTE:
The washrooms and crying rooms are closed. As much as we are thirsting for mass, anyone who is high risk and anyone who is sick, should continue to stay home.  Coming to mass is at your own risk and it is important to follow the established guidelines to ensure everyone’s safety.  Registration deadline for mass will be at the end of each week or until filled.  Walk-ins will not be permitted entry.
